Napoleon Dynamite look-alikes

I was talking to Chris on the phone, and I felt a tapping on my hip. I looked down and busted up laughing. Brody found Chris' Napoleon Dynamite costume he used for Halloween, and felt the need to try it on.

Now, Chase had to try it on.

Then the boys wanted Blake to try it on. I couldn't get a good picture of him unfortunately.

Toothpik tree

I came down the stairs earlier this week after putting Blake down for a nap and I found the toothpik box opened and a creation on the floor.......
Posing by their toothpik tree. Brody said to me, "Mom, look at our toothpik tree!" They were so proud to tell me how they worked together to create this masterpiece.

Photo Entertainment

I have eliminated watching "shows" for a while again in our house. So, in an effort to keep the boys busy before dinner is ready, I grabbed our old photo albums for the kids to look at.
I didn't even realize they had ripped this page until I started posting this on here!

I wanted to document this, so when I make enough posts on this blog to make a book of our own, the family will appreciate the new book they have compared to old photo albums. (Although, they probably won't care all that much. They are fully entertained by these.)

Shaving cream entertainment

The boys found some shaving cream tonight. I let them squirt it out onto a cookie sheet and then just play. Brody got it all over his shirt, so when I helped him pull it off, it smeared all over his face!

If you look closely, you can even see the lines from the neckline of his t-shirt.

Chase saw how much Brody and I were laughing, so he just started globbing it onto his face for the same reaction. We obliged and laughed at him too.

Baby Blake

Blake is now 8 months. He is such a good boy. (This picture is deceiving.) I wanted to post this picture to show his cute bottom teeth. Blake is very independent. I can put him in a room with toys and he entertains himself for a long time. He loves to be around the older brothers. If they are not in the car with him, he starts to wimper and complain. Every time we go to get him from his nap, he greets us with a huge smile and starts to breath through his nose quickly, and rapidly. Sometime, I'll get it on video. It's hard to explain. Brody and Chase love him too. They will come to me with excitement and say, "baby is awake!" I say o.k. , which is to say o.k., you can go in his room. One day, Chase said, where's baby? I said he's asleep. He said, can I wake him up? I said, no, he's asleep. Why do you want to wake him up? Chase said, because I want to play with him.

Here come a smile....

Chase's good idea

One night after putting the boys to bed and returning downstairs, I heard some noises. I went upstairs to investigate and realized Chase had been sneaking into Blake's bed to make sure he had enough reading material for the night. Long night of late night reading eh? I can't believe Blake didn't wake up!

Legomania

The kids LOVE legos! Brody is helping Chase to learn how to build too. He is so sweet to him. He always asks him, do you want me to build you a plane Chase?

Here's their airport.

A close up view of a few of them.
